You have to love the two colour scheme created by the lights, however there is a small red triangle in the top left corner which keeps distracting the eye. Perhaps it could be cloned out?

I enjoy the story in your caption and it makes me look at the photograph with a double pleasure. First the image, that speaks to me a lot (photo & movement), then the story behind and i'm looking for the sister & even hear the dog & the skate's wheels. The light adds to the mood : cleverly cinematic for sure, comrade ;) (and i like the trolley, half hidden, suggesting the parents).

Lol on Ronnie2c-I totally agree. Great story-it brings it alive! Oh and noting your comment on Karina's blog, I had Synesthesia after a motorbile accident that rendered me unconcious for 2 days. When I woke up I smelt colours, felt sounds, and people had a odd coloured aura around them, the effect deminished to zero over a 3 month period

A fine capture of this ongoing drama of brother and sister with dad thrown in occasionally. It was such a well lighted place for this too. Very nice action shot.

Evocative. There's something lonely in this nighttime skateboard shot. Maybe it's 'cause such wheels are associated with del sol. Or maybe it's the cast-off shopping cart, the brutal lights, the cheap concrete.

This is great B. A small drama on a large stage. Love it!

I am with Karine - the story really goes along with the image to make a complete piece. I am a skateboard fan - never been on one - but my favorite sign says "Skateboarding is NOT a crime" Some of my fellow oldsters don't seem to understand that...as Barbara always tells me, "it must be tough being so perfect." This image is perfect tho....
