Hansel and Gretel

Forget the crumbs. These kids have cell phones in hand to GPS them home.

My kids indulging me for a walk in a German forest, one of the things I miss most in LA.
...
The reason for the sepia. This city exists half in memory for me. It's hard for me to look ahead without looking back.

Wonderful dappled light. A beautiful shot of your thoughtful kids and the forest.

We've "Chatted" about this before. There you are, a human being, with a video mode(Your eyes) watching the game, walking through the forest, and you pick up your camera. So now you've got a video, interrupted by some stills. BUT, the video is imperfect as it depends on what you were thinking at the time, and what you are thinking when you play the video back. So do you you change the stills to fit with the video, or do the stills "Change " the video? It seems that at the moment you are changing the stills to fit with the video.....

The sepia sets a mood for thinking of the past, yes. Reflective shot. Good for you for going back to the forest of your youth...and sharing it with your kids.

Beautiful shot with the bright light, and the dark forest around the little path is disturbing. Nicely done!
Have a nice day.
