Unaware of the seeping things.

Sonia Nansid from Stockholm, Sweden

I love the symmetry in this photo. The water is in the center but my eyes go for the legs that appear at left and right. An incredible sensation of movement, as if we could stare at the picture and see those people pass by like in a movie.

20 Mar 2010 9:21am

@Sonia Nansid: Thank you, Sonia! It's interesting how what you leave out sometimes really draws you. I find it works that way in writing, too. Sometimes it's what people don't say that pulls you in. :)

k@ from Paris, France

Did you crop or is this the perfect timing within the frame ? Love the story anyway, on the verge of.... !

20 Mar 2010 9:46am

@k@: No crop. Just got lucky on the timing. It is a story! :)

Zorilla from H, T & E, United Kingdom

Turn it round and it's a map of England which coincidentally (?) is being rained upon heavily as I write this.

20 Mar 2010 12:15pm

@Zorilla: There are no coincidences...

k@ from Paris, France

Ah, this is super cool then, bravo !!

Michael from Shell Village, United Kingdom

There is a reason for everything.......... they just won't tell us what. Cool street shot.

20 Mar 2010 5:03pm

@Michael: Thanks! :) "They" are really getting on my nerves at this point. :0

Florence from Paris, France

Good catch and yes, perfect timing. Or you are maybe very patient ! ;-)
Well done indeed. A very dynamic urban shot.

20 Mar 2010 5:26pm

@Florence: Patient or lucky. :) And sometimes the result surprises you.

Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, France

JoeB from Brampton, Canada

Love the timing, you must have had it in mind before it happened.

20 Mar 2010 8:53pm

@JoeB: Honestly, I was trying to catch the feet and reflection of a pedestrian walking across that seeping puddle, but I wasn't prepared for the perfect entry and exit! But I love that! You shoot with instinct and sometimes something magical happens.
