Serious Coffee

Posted by
Bettina (Los Angeles, United States) on 22 May 2010 in Transportation and Portfolio.

In America we take our coffee so seriously, we drink it by the truckload.

JoeB from Brampton, Canada

All that coffee on a highway, this could be the source of road rage, wonderful but strange shot at the same time.

22 May 2010 10:07am

@JoeB: Yes! This could fuel quite some honking.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

22 May 2010 10:31am

Marlowe from Le Havre, France

Here in Europe, many drivers envy your trucks in North America. Admittedly, they are superb, like big toys, and we want to get into it, drive on the highways! The tank is beautiful and your layout contrasted pays tribute!

22 May 2010 10:52am

Marlowe from Le Havre, France

However, we prefer OUR coffee! :))

22 May 2010 10:53am

@Marlowe: But of course. Your coffee is far superior. :)

Bettina--what wonder in the so effective black and white--it shimmers! The coffee truck is like a diamond. Perfect!

22 May 2010 2:50pm

john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United States

Ah-h-h. I can breathe; Bettina is back to monochrome. When it comes to coffee drinking, you LA folks are pikers compared to those of us in the Pacific NW :))

22 May 2010 2:53pm

@john4jack: :)) I am so glad to facilitate the breathing. I will use color sparingly and responsibly. And, of course, we are wanna-bes when it comes to coffee compared to you Northerners. :)

john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United States

PS - I love the reflections in the side of the truck.

22 May 2010 2:54pm

Phil David Alexander Morris from Saskatoon, Canada

This shot perked me up, Bettina. Brand spanking new truck, must have outshone anything around. Love the way you photographed it sliding near the arch of the bridge. Also your vantage shot is great, giving the illusion of a chase going on.

22 May 2010 3:34pm

@Phil David Alexander Morris: I was chasing it! I needed my afternoon fix.

Earnest from Oklahoma, United States
